Slavin on top in Blitz

January’s Hendon Blitz Tournament was won with a 100% score by Alexey Slavin (2262) from Russia, who came fresh from victory at a Hastings tournament. Hendon’s top player was Martin Walker with 5/6, playing in his last blitz before leaving for South Korea. 15 players took part.
