The Tigers ended their season on a subdued note, going down 5.5-2.5 at Kings Head and defaulting a board due to a no-show. Game points came from 3 draws – Peter Lalić on top board, Daniel Ellis and new recruit Mark Chamberlain – and a win by me on board 7.
Despite losing half a match point due to the no-show, the Tigers will still finish the season in 3rd place in Division 1 of the Middlesex League. This is a tremendous result, which greatly exceeds our expectations at the start of the season. Congratulations to the whole Tigers squad and their captain Adam Raoof!
