Lorin D'Costa scores 12½/13 in simul!

Last Thursday, a very special event took place at the Club: IM Lorin D’Costa took on 13 opponents in a simultaneous display in aid of his charity She Plays To Win, which aims to promote chess among women and girls.

This is always a highlight of our calendar, and this one was no exception! Lorin won 12 out of 13 games, conceding just one draw to Samuel Tombs (congratulations to him!).
